SPECIAL OLYMPICS YOUNG ATHLETES FESTIVAL

Young Athletes Festival

Special Olympics Young Athletes is a sport and play program for children with and without intellectual disabilities (ID), ages 2 to 7 years old. Young Athletes introduces basic sport skills, like running, kicking and throwing. Young Athletes offers families, teachers, caregivers and people from the community the chance to share the joy of sports with all children. Children of all abilities take part, and they all benefit. Children learn how to play with others and develop important skills for learning. Children also learn to share, take turns and follow directions.

During the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, the Young Athletes Event will be held at Seattle Center July 2 and July 3 and at the University of Washington July 5.

All children registered before June 1 will receive a t-shirt and 2 tickets (1 child & 1 parent) to the Pacific Science Center and will also be entered into a raffle for a Strider 14x bike.
