The Buddy Walk was awesome but we aren't done celebrating yet! Join us for a Karaoke Dance Party celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness Month on Friday, Oct. 20th. at the Everett School District Community Resource Center-Port Gardner Rooms A and B. The Event will be from 7:00-9:00 and will be a dessert potluck. DSASC will provide some drinks and light snacks and we are hoping you will supply yummy desserts! Non-scary costumes are optional for this event. Please sign up if you want to sing. We will do karaoke the first half of the event and dancing the second half. We will work off a written schedule for the Karaoke portion so everyone who signs up will get the chance to perform.  We are hoping to keep it as structured as possible. If we have extra time, we can do some spontaneous performances. :-)  You will need to bring your music in on a iPod or similar device. We are hoping DJ Dad will be able to be at our event-I will try to talk him into it! :-) Request your dance songs on your rsvp as well! Looking forward to a fun night!
